From the apartment, it is only a short walk (200m) up to the Tracouet central ski lift station – from here, you have a choice of numerous intermediate and beginner slopes. Or try a couple of warm-up runs to help you into the more difficult areas of the 4Vallees and up towards Tortin and Mont Fort, or easily over to Verbier.
There is also an all-inclusive Nendaz bus service (there's a bus stop right down in front of the apartment) which links to the free service to take you around to Siviez (15 minute ride) right in the heart of the more serious 4 Vallees skiing.
Snowpark
Aimed at experienced skiers and snowboarders, this park is great for freestyling; equipped with various kickers, rails, and boxes, it also offers two parks of different levels, contests, a mini snow-skate park, the croq'bar and much more!
Families
Traceroute is the preferred location for children and beginners. Attractive rates for ski passes for families are available. A nursery welcomes children from 18 months upwards, and four ski schools offer excellent quality services.

Sledging
Guaranteed sensations on two sledding pistes. The first, situated at the Plaine des Ecluses, is 200 metres and one at Tortin, 3km.
Local Ice Rink
The resort has an ice rink to practice your favorite ice sports, such as skating and ice hockey. In season, there is the Ice Disco in the evenings! Open from the beginning of October to the end of March, every day from 10 am – 11:45 am and from 2 pm – 4:30 pm. Extended opening hours in the evenings during the high season.

Beginners and Kids’ Skiing
Nendaz is an excellent resort for beginners to ski in Nendaz and Siviez, both ideal locations for beginners and children. Four ski schools offer excellent quality services. Childcare on a daily or 1/2 day basis, lessons possible for children starting from age two years, learning to ski playing games.
The sled run is right outside the apartment – you can enjoy a vin chaud on the balcony while watching the little ones. The adventure playground and sports field are also very near the apartment. The town is excellent at putting on events and festivals, including weekly welcome drinks in the winter and the weekly fair on Wednesdays in the summer. Santa even arrives by paraglider on Christmas Eve!
What could be more fun than sliding downhill on a giant tire? Try snow tubing at Tracouet (Mums and Dads have a go, too!!) – head to Lake’s Bar when you need a well-earned drink afterward.
Kids’ Summer Activities
It’s not just skiing that brings people to the area; Nendaz is a natural playground for children of all ages any season! There are children’s activities organized in the summer, including biking, multi-sports, archery, tennis, and treasure hunts. Year-round there are also trampolines (for big kids and little kids), and a games library filled with books, toys, and games to keep the kids entertained.
